You can make a difference right now and impact the future of Christ-centered foster care ministry in west Florida.

Together we can provide more Christian foster homes full of love and hope for foster children in crisis.

To show you the kind of potential impact we could have together, I want to share with you some stories that God is orchestrating through A Door of Hope.

As you probably know A Door of Hope was founded and continues to be a Christ-centered foster care agency that exists to glorify God by recruiting, training, licensing, and supporting Christian homes. These families have a heart to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to children and families connected to the foster care system.

What started out 11 years ago as a fledgling ministry with just two people has now, by God’s grace, grown to 32 people. In that time, we have licensed more than 415 foster families and placed close to 2000 children—598 in the past year alone. It is mind-blowing to think of all that has happened. And all we can say is, "To God be the Glory!"

Next, I want to introduce you to one of our hero homes. They are one of our nearly 200 foster families who serve in some of the darkest places. These foster parents sometimes see the most horrible of things that humans can do to vulnerable children. They know that the only thing that can bring about real change in foster care and for these kids is Jesus Christ and so they willingly join the battle.

Let me tell you about the Ammons family who has been with us going on five years. Jill and Chuck have five children of their own and have a big heart to love every foster child that comes into their home. In fact...

When children come to us everything is broken. Where else would we be? What else would we do as the church? What could be more important than being there in the moment to show them the love of who the Father is?", Chuck concludes.

We are so grateful for families like the Ammons and their impact on lives. Our mission is to provide love and hope for as many children as possible. Hopefully more than 598 foster children in the next year. To top that we need more Christian foster homes.

With your support, we're able to recruit, train, and license new prospective homes. This is so important. Why? Because each home is where this ministry takes place.

  • It’s in the Ammons home where they are helping a little boy get back to his mama after she was incarcerated. Where Jill and Chuck contend, stand with, and pray for the reunification of this little boy and his mama.

  • Three years ago the Browns unexpectedly and boldly took in four siblings. This year all four were adopted, with mom stating, " I know I am doing what God has asked us to do."

Thank you for believing in A Door of Hope and providing what's needed to love and provide hope for more foster children in our community. Supporters like you make it possible for us together to open more homes. To help more kids in crisis.

May God bless you and your family,

Godly Daniel, Executive Director A Door of Hope

Chuck proclaims, "From the very beginning, it's been a whole family ministry. As our children tuck in our foster children at night and play with them, they really are part of our whole family unit."

"Every child deserves a place to belong," Jill exclaims. "A place to feel loved. A place to feel safe. A place to lay at night where they're not afraid. We have the opportunity to provide that."

"The reason I think it's so important to provide hope for these children is because, loving a child is ground zero for the Gospel.

P.S. Thank you for your faithful partnership in ministry. With your help we can open more much needed Christian foster homes. Together WE GIVE LOVE and HOPE to children in crisis!
