I often think about all the people God is using through this ministry to bring the gospel to desperately needy foster children and their biological parents. It's our foster parents who you've sent into our community to be the hands and feet of Jesus, like...

One of our foster moms proclaims, "Reunifications are something we love to celebrate. These girls have come so far and so has their mama. We could not be more proud to have been a part of their journey. While they were here, they both came to know Jesus and they thrived in school. We are going to miss them so much, but we are so hopeful for their future and know God has them in his hands."

Charity Rice admits, "My heart is for the parents. Our very first placement was super special, and the mom was super special. She’s a 19-year-old girl who just adores her son. I was able to pray over her and speak life into her and she looked at me as if no one had ever told her this."

Another foster mom explains, "The first night we had Andy, he was very scared. The anxiety he experienced was on a whole other level than I had ever seen in a child before. When we tucked him into bed that night, we prayed over him and for him. We did this every night and one night he asked to pray. He started asking to pray in the morning before school and in the evening at bedtime. It wasn’t long before he would say, 'I just love God so much.'"

She went on and said that later, "Andy told us he wanted Jesus to be his forever friend. I asked him what that meant, and he said, ‘Well, I love God and God loves me. Jesus died on the cross so I can be with God forever and ever.' Well, he got that. When Andy started asking about being baptized, I asked him why. He said, ‘Because I want everyone to know that I love God and Jesus is my forever friend.’" So, they had Andy talk with their pastor and he concluded Andy understood grace, the Gospel, and what it means to love God.
