Restoring hope in foster care

Every child deserves to be seen, known, and loved. But too many enter foster care without the steady presence of family, hope, or healing.

This May, during Foster Care Awareness Month, we invite you to join us in Restoring Hope — one story, one family at a time. Through the power of Christ-centered foster care, broken stories are being redeemed, families are being rebuilt, and children are finding the love they deserve.

A graphic with a teal background displaying the message: "In our community kids are removed every day because of abuse and neglect." In the lower left corner, there's a logo that reads "A Door of Hope Foster Care."
Text overlay on a teal background stating, 'There are over 15,000 kids in foster care in Florida.' Bottom left corner has a logo with text, 'A Door of Hope Foster Care'.

THE REALITY IS THAT THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH HOMES FOR THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN WHO ARE
IN THE SYSTEM.

Text reading 'The church is the solution' with a simple line drawing of a church beneath the text and the logo of 'A Door of Hope Foster Care' in the bottom left corner.

The church has the calling to care for VULNERABLE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
