SMS / Text Messaging
A Door of Hope offers an optional text messaging program for foster parents, prospective foster families, volunteers, and others who contact us. If you opt in, you may receive text messages from A Door of Hope such as appointment reminders, training class and info session updates, event reminders, and follow-ups to your inquiries.
How to opt in: You may opt in by selecting the SMS consent option on the Contact Us form on our website. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any service or of becoming a foster family.
Message frequency: Message frequency varies, up to 5 messages per week.
Costs: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier's plan.
How to opt out: Reply STOP to any message at any time. You'll get one confirmation message, and no more texts will be sent after that. You may also email info@adoorofhope.com to be removed.

Carrier disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Sharing of mobile information: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. This excludes only service providers that help us deliver our text messages, and they may not use your information for any other purpose.
