Aly Moore
INITIAL LICENSING SPECIALIST- PASCO & PINELLAS
From her early years, Aly developed a deep desire to support children and families through her father’s church in the southside of St. Petersburg. That calling first led Aly into Elementary education after graduation. She attended the University of South Florida, to earn a degree in Elementary Education with a certification in Special Education. During this time, however, she discovered a love for early childhood education and has spent the past decade teaching and directing preschool programs—treasuring every moment.
Aly now supports children and families in a new way, serving as an Initial Licensor with A Door of Hope. She is passionate about helping bring children into safe, loving Christian homes and encouraging families to seek God’s will throughout the foster care journey.
Aly’s own young family is a great joy to her. She has been married to her husband for six years, and together they cherish their young son. In addition to her work in child welfare, Aly enjoys singing, writing, and performing spoken words, all for the glory of God. In everything she does, Aly wishes to point others to Jesus.
Her favorite Bible verse is: “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5
