Annie Lowe

LICENSING & SUPPORT SPECIALIST- PASCO & PINELLAS

Annie grew up in Virginia, where her family's involvement in foster care shaped her heart for children and families in crisis. Watching her parents open their home to love and support children and families through difficult seasons inspired her passion for serving vulnerable children and strengthening families.

Annie attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago where she studied Human Services with a concentration in Crisis and Trauma Care. During her time there she served at Lydia Home, a children's group home, where she had the opportunity to minister to children who had experienced trauma and family separation. Those experiences deepened her desire to serve children and families with compassion and the hope of Christ.

Today, Annie is grateful to continue living out that calling as a Licensing + Support Specialist with A Door of Hope. She is passionate about encouraging foster families as they open their hearts and homes to children and considers it a privilege to walk alongside them throughout their foster care journey.

No matter where God places her, Annie desires to invest in her community and serve through the local church. She loves building meaningful relationships, serving in ministry, and pointing others to the hope found in Jesus.

In her free time, Annie enjoys baking, spending time with family and friends, exploring new places, and finding opportunities to have fun and creating new memories. Annie’s favorite verse: "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."  Proverbs 3:5–6
