Erika has served children and families in the Pinellas County community for over 15 years. Driven by a profound calling as a follower of Jesus, Erika views her work not merely as a profession, but as a ministry dedicated to connecting vulnerable children with safe, stable, and loving environments.
Erika holds an Associate of the Arts in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Child Psychology. Her background includes specialized expertise in behavior consultation, social/emotional support, and early intervention. With extensive training in Trauma Informed Care and Wraparound Care, she possesses a deep understanding of how to support families navigating traumatic experiences.
The Bible verse that motivates Erika in her work with children and families is 1 Peter 4:10 “Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.” This verse helps her to embody her spiritual gifts of serving, encouraging, and teaching for God’s Kingdom and to share the Good News of Jesus.
