Originally from small-town Indiana, Joany has been a Florida resident since late 2018. After earning a BA in Psychology from the University of Southern Indiana, she planned to continue her education and build a career as a therapist. However, the Lord’s plan included time in non-profit work, higher education, sales, church administration, and ten years as a stay-at-home-mom. She and her husband, John, have two musically talented children and a dog who adores her.

She is always ready for her next adventure and embraces new challenges with enthusiasm. She loves to travel and experience different places and cultures, and she loves to see the world through her children’s eyes. If she finds herself with free time, she enjoys reading, deep conversations, and celebrating everything.

During every season of life, Joany has found this verse from Colossians to be a valuable reminder: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters”.
