Kayla Rhea

LICENSING & SUPPORT SPECIALIST- HILLSBOROUGH

Kayla was born and raised in Tampa, Florida and has been a Christian her entire life and loves to serve Christ in all she does.

Kayla and her family attend First Baptist Church of Lutz. She has been a lead vocalist on her worship team for 13 years and worship is one of her deepest passions!

She has worked with and volunteered at several non-profit organizations in Tampa Bay, such as HeartDance, Bridging Freedom, and Redefining Refuge.

Kayla and her husband, David, have been married for almost 17 years and their hearts have always been centered around children. They became Foster Parents with A Door of Hope in 2020 and have adopted two wonderful kiddos in April of 2026. Kayla and her husband also recently welcomed a miracle baby in July 2025, after 15 years of infertility.

Kayla enjoys spending time with her kids, singing, reading books, and vacationing in the mountains of Tennessee.

My life verse is centered around actively trusting God and waiting on the Lord!

Isaiah 40:28-31 - “Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”
