Shaleigh Schneider

DIRECTOR OF THERAPEUTIC SERVICES

Shaleigh has dedicated her career to walking alongside families navigating the child welfare system. With both professional experience and personal insight, she is deeply passionate about supporting children and caregivers impacted by trauma and helping families grow in connection, stability, and hope.

Her work has centered on strengthening families and expanding access to meaningful therapeutic support in the community. Shaleigh is a TBRI Practitioner and a Making Sense of Your Worth Facilitator. She has also completed advanced training in Trauma Competent Caregiving, Family Systems Trauma (FST) Advanced Training, and Motivational Interviewing. She loves helping parents and professionals better understand behavior through a trauma-responsive lens and giving them practical tools that bring connection, healing, and hope into everyday life.

As Director of Therapeutic Services, Shaleigh helps lead and grow a trauma-informed program that provides counseling, parent coaching, education, and wraparound support for children and families. She believes every member of foster families deserve encouragement, support, and someone who will walk with them through both the challenges and the victories. Helping families feel seen, equipped, and never alone is at the heart of everything she does.

Shaleigh and her husband Brent have been married since 2005 and are raising six children, four of whom joined their family through foster care adoption. They began fostering more than a decade ago, and that journey continues to shape her work and her heart. Some of her most meaningful learning has happened not in a classroom, but around her own kitchen table. She is deeply committed to serving her local community and walking alongside others in both the joyful and the hard seasons of life.

A verse that has guided Shaleigh for many years is Matthew 6:33:
“Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.”
