We are so excited to share the news that The T family has just been licensed to foster 7 children between the ages of 0-17 - this family has so much love to give and can’t wait to open their home to one or more children! We are incredibly thankful for loving foster families like this.

These two beautiful girls were adopted recently into their FOREVER home!
Although our goal at ADOH is reunification, sometimes God has other plans and we couldn’t be more happy for families who adopt.
Eleanor was adopted into her FOREVER home last month! We couldn’t be more happy for the D Family as they embrace Eleanor as one of their own.
These boys have been waiting almost a year to be placed in their forever home. Two days before Halloween, they hopped on a plane and transitioned to a new state where their family had also patiently awaited their arrival. It was a long process, but God has heard their prayers and answered them!

Our mission is to provide a Christian foster home for every child in crisis in west-central Florida. When you attend an info session, we help you understand what a foster parent's calling entails from physical/emotional and spiritual aspects.

Idlewild Church is all in when it comes to foster care! Through the years, dozens of families have said Yes to bringing in children, many of whom have been licensed with A Door of Hope. We are excited to run into some of these families every time we are at Idlewild. Because they have said yes to fostering, lives have been changed, and hope has come to seemingly hopeless circumstances.

Each new Christian foster home = $4,500 in donations for recruiting, training, and licensing
Each child placed in a Christian home = $1,000 in donations for supporting and assisting homes throughout the year with each placement
